An architect's eloquence

Those who have become intimately acquainted with the manoeuvrings of ARB to assemble a case against two blameless architects (mentioned elsewhere on this website) and who have heard or read the dignified defence the architects have made to the charges, will have been left in no doubt where the merits lie, and how far short ARB's performance has been from acceptable standards.

  • AARUK here reproduces one of these defences (of J L) which can be taken as standing for both.
  • Comment by an independent person who was present and witnessed the proceedings.
  • Decisions and sentences given: J L and R L.
  • Further comment, illustrating how these decisions cast a blight on the future prospect of fair hearings before the Professional Conduct Committee.
